Andrew and Rebecca are getting married on July 14th, 2012 at Mount Gulian in Beacon, NY

What time?

Friday evening from 8pm on, anyone who is in town is welcome to stop by the house we’ve rented for the weekend for drinks, snacks and mingling.

On Saturday afternoon, the wedding ceremony will begin at 4pm, followed by cocktails, dinner and dancing.

On Sunday starting at 11am, we’ll be hosting bagels, coffee and such at the house. We’d love you to come by and say goodbye before heading back home.

Where will I stay?

We’ve reserved a block of rooms for our guests at the Hampton Inn in Fishkill. If you choose to stay there, just use the code WAW when making your reservation to get the group rate.

We recommend three lovely B&Bs in the area: Botsford Briar, Chrystie House Bed & Breakfast, and Mt. Beacon Bed & Breakfast.

If you’d prefer to rent a house in the area for the weekend, both Airbnb and Vrbo are great resources.

How will I get there?

You can take Metro-North to Beacon from New York's Grand Central Terminal. The trip is about 90 minutes and trains run hourly, with the last train leaving Beacon for New York at 11:15pm.

Or you can drive, which takes about 80 minutes from central New York City to Beacon.

If you choose to stay at the Hampton Inn, you can take a shuttle to and from the wedding festivities. The shuttle will only be running for the half hour before and after the wedding, so be sure to make other arrangements if you’ll need to return earlier. We’ll have the number of a reputable cab service available.

How do I RSVP?

By emailing us! What? Yes. You can do it here or at andrewandrebecca.07.14.2012 (at) gmail.com. In your email, please also let us know if you’ll be stopping by Friday night for drinks, if you’d like to use the shuttle to and from the Hampton Inn, and if you’ll be joining us for brunch on Sunday. We hope so!

Please send us your replies before May the 28th.

What else?

There are lots of fun things to do in the Beacon area. We particularly love Dia: Beacon, Storm King Art Center and Zora Dora’s Paletas. But there are also wilderness walks, antique shops and the charming Homespun Foods.

We’re registered at Crate and Barrel and Schoolhouse Electric Co., and we have a wishlist at Design Within Reach online.

We can’t wait to see you in July!
